2027 Board & Supervisory Committee Election
The Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee are accepting applications for the 2027 open positions. The Board and Supervisory Committee candidates who receive the greatest number of votes will be elected.
Candidates must:
1. Be a primary member in good standing for at least 90 days prior to the Annual Meeting, March 24, 2027.
2. Be at least 18 years of age.
3. Be bondable.
Additional qualifications for Board and Supervisory Committee member applicants include candidates must:
1. Have served in the Associate Board Member program or Associate Supervisory Committee Member program for a minimum of one (1) year.
2. Reside, legally and actually, and/or be employed within the credit union field of membership.
3. Agree to and comply with the terms of the credit union’s Code of Ethics.
4. Not reside with and/or be related* to a full-time employee of the credit union or any subsidiary.
5. Not have been employed currently or in the past by the credit union or any of its subsidiaries or employed by or serving as an official of any financial institution doing business in the state of Washington or the credit union’s service area in the state of Oregon.
6. Not be currently serving or have served in an elected or appointed capacity governing a financial institution doing business in the credit union’s service area within the past three (3) years.
7. Not have an ownership interest (other than an account relationship or ownership in publicly traded securities) in a financial institution doing business in the credit union’s service area within the past three (3) years.
* Related is defined as “spouse, sibling, and parent or child by blood, step, foster or adoption.”
Additional qualification for Board member applicants include candidates must:
1. Have previous board experience.
Additional qualifications for Supervisory Committee applicants include candidates must:
1. Have knowledge and ability to interpret and assess the implications of auditor reports, whether from being a recipient of an audit or performing an audit.
2. Have knowledge of Board governance.
The application deadline is Friday, October 16, 2026 by 5:30 pm.
