How to deposit checks with your smartphone

Learn how to deposit checks using the Peak Credit Union mobile app, including eligibility, steps, and limits

Eligibility

As a member, you must:

  • Have an eligible checking or savings account.
  • Be in good standing.
  • Have an established and active online banking profile.
  • Complete the Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) acknowledgment and agree that no transaction is made through the Electronic Fund Transfer Act or Regulation E of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Get started

Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) eligibility requires a Peak checking account and enrollment in Digital Banking.

To deposit your check using your smartphone, use our mobile app (available on Apple and Android).

  1. Select the camera icon on the bottom of your screen in the thumb bar.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts. Make sure the image is clear, with routing and account numbers visible and space around the check edges.
  3. Endorse your check. If multiple payees are listed, all must sign. Below your signature, write:
“For mobile deposit only to Peak Credit Union.”
    This ensures faster processing.

After depositing your check, you’ll receive email receipts:

  • First email: Automated receipt after submission (from ensenta.monitor@jackhenry.com).
  • Second email: Final processing result (approved, adjusted, or rejected).

Keep the original check for at least 30 days, then dispose of it securely.
