The TwinStar Community Foundation is the charitable arm of Peak Credit Union. The annual Classroom Cash program completed another successful award cycle by recognizing 219 teachers from Washington and Oregon with awards totaling $43,800.
This year’s Classroom Cash mini-grants were used for books, rhythm sticks, math games, reward stickers, headphones, t-shirts to tie-dye, STEM bins, “calm corner” supplies, maps/compasses, and more!
In almost every case, the funds help obtain teaching tools that are unavailable due to budget cuts and other funding shortfalls.
Thank you to all our teachers for the amazing work you do! We’re always impressed with the imagination and creativity of the Classroom Cash applications.
The Foundation was formed to extend our community commitment programs and have an even greater impact on our communities. We’re looking forward to enhancing our community involvement with innovative support from the TwinStar Community Foundation.
